Hi, I’m Ana
My counselling approach is built on empathy, individualised support, practical steps, and, where possible, sharing a laugh together along the way. I’ve had the privilege of working with hundreds of clients since I started my formal counselling training. With a background in performing arts, pastoring, public speaking and, more recently, motherhood, I have developed the unique ability to sit with a wide range of clients through life’s most difficult circumstances and help them find hope for the future and the skills to move towards meaningful change.
I’m wildly passionate about people gaining the tools they need to thrive in all areas of their lives. I firmly believe in the inherent value of each person and strive to work in a way to help people see that for themselves and for others.
I’m based in Wellington but work exclusively online in this season of our family. My husband Dan and I are the proud and smitten parents to twin boys who are the joy of our lives!
A qualified counsellor with a Masters in Counselling Studies and over a decade of experience in supporting people through tough life circumstances to find their path forward. My therapeutic career has also included crisis management, youth work, whānau support, and education.
